Have Your Important Papers Ready to Grab and Go During Hurricane Season

• Passports, visas, permanent resident cards (green cards), driver’s license(s), birth certificate(s), marriage license, Social Security cards, health insurance, Rx, Medicare/Medicaid cards.
• Copies of titles for all vehicles (automobiles, trucks, recreational vehicles and/ or watercraft) and copies of mortgage and title insurance policy for house(s).
• Hard copies of all insurance policies (HO, auto, umbrella, flood etc.) Alternatively download your insurance company’s app to ensure easy access to all your insurance documents.
• All credit and debit cards and all checks.
• A month’s supply of all prescription medications.
• Copies of all prescriptions for medicine (humans and pets).
• Eyeglasses and contact lenses, hearing aids and medical equipment.
• Health records for humans and pets.

Some items on this list may be kept in a safety deposit box or scanned and saved to the cloud or to a flash drive, but some may need to be in their original form, such as passports and driver’s licenses, to be valid.
